Deep scuba diving is not only challenging but extremely exhilarating! With the PADI Deep Diver speciality course you will be able to experience that excitement first hand by extending your depth limit to 40 metres. During the course you will learn how to plan, set up and execute deep scuba dives with particular consideration factors such as increased air consumption, temperature changes, shorter no-decompression limits and physiological effects such as nitrogen narcosis. By the end of the course you will be confident in your ability to safely dive deeper and understand how to avoid and deal with problems associated with deeper diving.Minimum age is 15 and students must be a Padi Advanced Open Water Diver or hold a similar qualifying certification from another training organisation. The course consists of a knowledge development session and four open water dives over two days.
